About this Talk

Not every person in technology took the same road. Although it is assumed that you have to have been a “Computer geek” since the beginning, that isn’t true. And you don’t have to be a hands-to-keyboard type of employee to be considered important to an organization. This session will talk about the other jobs in technology, like Alliance Managers, BD people, Sales Operations, and how someone can take their talents in relationship building to the next level. The session would be for those looking for a new job in tech, or want to switch up their career path. Here are some of the talking points that covered in this talk:

What does a job in tech really mean? What are examples of jobs in the field? What skills do you need to be successful as well as examples of women with unconventional ways into the tech field.
